My purchase with the Aventuras group was based on two major points:

1. Location, location, location: Puerto Aventuras doesn't have the hustle and bustle of Playa, Cozumel, or Tulum, yet it offers several restaurants (many next to the dolphin ponds), decent beaches, several scuba shops, many cave diving locations across the highway (I'm a cave divers), atms, internet cafes, a grocery, peace and quiet, and no pesky people walking around trying to get me to buy knick knacks every few minutes. There is even a Sam's Club and Serano's (just like Sams) 10 minutes from Puerto Aventuras.

2. Classy Staff: When I first inquired about the project I was dressed in shorts and nothing else, no shoes, no shirt. I was treated to a tour of the facilities which were being built at the time. I was given paperwork and told upfront that I should not view a purchases as mainly an investment that would make me money. Upon my return to the USA, all emails were answered quickly and professionally. Even today, I'm impressed that the staff gets involved with helping the local community at Christmas time and giving to those that are not as fortunate.

Fractional vacation ownership allows us the flexibility and affordability to own waterfront resort property on the Mayan Riviera during the most convenient times of the year. We found full-time ownership wasn't practical since we don't plan to live year round in Mexico. We prefer fractional home ownership to a time-share as fractional real estate are an appreciating asset. We can come and go as we please during our ownership month(s), and have a vested interest in how the project is run and maintained down the road.

We couldn't be happier. We trust the Aventuras Club professionals implicitly, and would purchase more units if and when we can.

Living in South Central Ohio in a land-locked area would give anyone a special appreciation for crystal-clear water, white sands, and palm trees. Still, our family has found a special place in its collective heart for Puerto Aventuras and all that it has to offer. This place is our own special "jewel on the Riviera Maya.

The atmosphere that we look forward to enjoying each year is comprised of qualities that tempt and excite each of the senses. The scenery within the community is quaint, clean, and colorful. The scents of the salt water and the fauna wake you up in the morning and stay with you until the aromas from the marina restaurants call out to you in the evenings. The variety of tropical drinks and foods will keep your taste-buds occupied. The rumble of the waves, the sounds of the busy fishermen on the docks, and the local birds in the trees keep the air buzzing all day. The quiet of the night wraps you like a blanket. The warm embrace of the sun and the soft sand around your feet always leave you wishing for more time at the pool or the plentiful beaches.

The Zupi family has come to Puerto Aventuras every year for several years, and will for as long as we are able, because it truly has become our second "home". We are excited and grateful to have been given the opportunity to be a part of the "AVENTURAS CLUB" community. We look forward to meeting new friends from Mexico and all over the world in the years to come.

We were delighted to see the progress on Laguna I during our recent vacation to Puerto Aventuras in January. The photos you had previously sent of the model unit were good but didn't do it justice?it was fabulous! As you know our adult children and their families joined us on vacation this year and left wishing they were in a position to buy there too.

Being back in Puerto Aventuras reminded us of why we love it there so much. Having rented a condo this time instead of staying at an all-inclusive resort allowed us to discover the restaurants, entertainment and shops the town has to offer. The limited number of hotels in PA eliminates the throngs of 20-somethings looking for an all-night party, providing those of us past our 20s quiet enjoyment of the sun and sand.

For us, the appeal of fractional vacation ownership versus full-time ownership is that it enables us to own a piece of paradise for the time we'll use, without the worry of what to do with it the rest of the year. Your product in Puerto Aventuas is first-rate quality and now that the model is ready for viewing, the units will surely sell themselves. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aventuras Club to anyone. We don't regret for a minute our decision to buy last year pre-construction and are now looking seriously at purchasing another block of time.

It was nice to see you and Daniel again and to finally meet the rest of the staff. You have a terrific team. You were all tremendously helpful in our search for alternate accommodation when it became clear that our unit wouldn't be ready in time for us this year. We're very thankful for Daniel's occasional shuttle service during our stay and especially appreciated the overnight use of the golf cart that one raining evening, many thanks again for that.

Over the past year we've appreciated your periodic updates about progress (and delays). We're looking forward to seeing the building completed and to being in our own place next year.

We have been traveling to the Mayan Riviera for the past 7 years, every six months, staying at a few all-inclusive resorts in the area. This is a great way to enjoy the area by visiting the many tourist sites or do nothing but relax and enjoy the warmth of the sunshine and the friendly Mexican locals, depending on your desire. We began to think last year, about our future and that we would like to continue to visit the Mayan Riviera but for more of a duration, especially after we retire in 2009. Obviously we love the Mayan Riviera and would love to live part time in the area.

One of our many Mexican friends, who happens to reside within Puerto Aventuras (PA), showed us the area and then got us interested in the Fractional Ownership Real Estate being built. During this April 2006 we were showed the Marina site, which was under construction. My wife and I were more than amazed at what we saw, including the quality of the furnishings and the locations of the Villas, but didn't want to jump into this venture.

At home in Revelstoke, BC (in the Canadian Rockies), we thought of this venture all the time and on our next visit to the Mayan Riviera in October 2006 we once again visited PA. Well that did it. We committed to a location in the Marina but soon upgraded to a condo-suite in the Laguna I Villa.

We are truly very happy with our experience with Aventuras Club and VERY happy to be proud co-owners of such a development. We are looking forward to staying at OUR home in Sept/Oct. We also in the future, hope to purchase additional 'months' in order to live in PA for a duration of 3 months annually.

PS: All our friends are very envious of our purchase and no doubt will be visiting the area.

Linda and I have traveled fairly extensively in our lifetime and in all locations we visit, we make a point of exploring the possibility of acquiring a recreational property that we can look forward to as we get older. In many locations we found beautiful properties that are attractive, easy to get to, and apparently well managed.

When we visited Puerto Aventuras for the first time, we really enjoyed the privacy, the village atmosphere and the friendliness of all the people including both the "tourists" and the people that actually live and work there. We explored several projects with a view to buying property here. We of course bought the property of our choice and have since upgraded to the 3 bedroom we now enjoy.

On our first visit to our new unit we were immediately impressed with its construction and its finish. We loved its location, its view and all of its amenities. It was clean and ready for us when we arrived making our introduction to our unit all that more impressive.

While all of that was great, what was even better in our view was the people who made it all possible. Meeting you and Tim, and the preparations you made for us were above and beyond our expectations. Your housekeeping staff and maintenance personnel or so cordial and accommodating, it makes us feel that we take advantage of them.

Equally important however, are the neighbors. I can't tell you how great a relief it is to meet people from all over North America, who are personable, respectful, and friendly. Everyone is respectful of each others space and even after one month, we feel that we have made life long friends.
